A letter to Mr.March

20th December, 1861
Dear Dad,

Thank you for your letter. We are all well. When you went to the army for one month, we all miss you. I know that you should work very hard in this war and the meal tastes very bad. And you should wake up very early.
Mum is hard-working at home and taught us a good manner. Jo is a very active girl. She wants to be a soldier and takes part in the war, too. Beth worries about your safe. Therefore, I told her don't be so worried about you and you will protect yourself. She already calmed down.
Dad, we all remember that what you taught us and will be lovely children for both of you and Mum.
Please take care.
God bless you.
Love,
Meg

Charis, you need someone to edit your work carefully after writing since, it appears, you do not.

Your spelling is great; but your use of (singular/plural) nouns, verb tenses, and modal verbs (make sure you know what "should" means)need serious work! Think carefully when writing and then read carefully after writing.
